By the end of the course you should be able to understand economic and commercial texts in English and have acquired a solid vocabulary in these areas. You will also have improved your reading skills.
The focus is on (1) detailed analysis of economic and commercial English using (semi-)authentic texts, (2) significantly increasing specialised vocabulary to enable students to easily understand any text in this domain, and (3) improving students’ reading techniques (skimming, scanning).
