Overall aim and intended learning outcomes: To enable students to collect and work with survey or census datasets from the very beginning to the production of complex graphs, maps and tabulations.
By the end of this course, students should be able to
- collect data based on open-source tools for mobile data collection.
- manage survey and census data: merge and reshape datasets, extract the relevant information, apply functions over subset of the data, ...
- produce maps based on survey or census data.
