Enrolment options

The main goal of this course is to provide students with a comparative overview of the key features of developed welfare states. It does so by focusing on a detailed discussion of various welfare models, and by analyzing specific welfare programmes such as unemployment, social assistance, family benefits, etc. Insights from sociology, economics, history, and political science, are applied to the study of contemporary social policy.
