Dear all,
Thanks for the W6 Gantt and Kanban assignments, 98% submitted them.
Some reminder/info about the course:
- No class on W6 (and no class on W7 and W8) to allow you to work on the group project, assignments and study for the exam
- As indicated, W6 Zapier and AWS homeworks are due by Tue 20/10 ( > 120 of you have already done them)
- W7 DevopsDream is due by Tue 27/10 and 20% already did it.
- Last course:
This Thursday 15/10 at 4:15 PM @ MONT 10 with J. Coenraets. Again, there will be NO class in W6 (Tue 20 and Thu 22) So use W6 to work on your group project (and optionally for the 24h vélo!) and submit the Zapier and AWS homeworks by 20/10, W7 DevopsDream by 27/10
- Presentation and GroupWork Self Assessment (under Week 7):
Videos for your project (one 15 minutes video clip per group including your odoo system demo) have to be uploaded ONLY in mp4 format (max 100 Mb) directly in https://app.comproved.com. The upload period will be open on 20/10/2026 6:00 and will end on 30/10/2026 23:59. You will get email notifications directly from Comproved but in any case you can already login now in https://app.comproved.com to test: just choose UCLouvain as institution/school and use your Microsoft (Office, Teams, Outlook) account from the university ("Sign in with Microsoft" with your UCLouvain email and UCLouvain pwd).
In addition under Week 7, submit, in moodle, by 30/10, your presentation slides WITHOUT any video, sound, embedded animation in a PDF format. Again ONE submission per group.
Groupwork self assessment (to be done by 9/11 but you can do it now) is now already activated under Week 7. Here each of you, individually, has to self-assess your group work and group members participation, responsibility, contribution and collaboration + optional comments (like a sprint retrospective in SCRUM). Do it seriously and be fair to your group members. You can of course talk and debate about it among yourselves in the group before doing it. We will use it only to detect problems such as non-commitment in groups and in any case NOT to "punish" people. Do this activity and you will get 2% of the final note as explained.
- Exam :
It will be held on Wed 4/11 at 2 PM as indicated in your ADE Schedule including student/room distribution (or info on that point will follow once you get it from the school office)
The exam is closed book and is individual. It lasts 1h30. It consists of 30 MCQs and 1 "fill-in-the blank" question" and counts for 33% of the final grade. There are no negative points. At the end of the exam, you must return everything: the MCQ grid, the fill-in-the blank question, the questionnaire as well as sign the attendance sheet. Smartphones, calculators, connected watches, written notes are prohibited from the start of the exam and will be otherwise considered as attempts at cheating if in your possession. Exam material concerns everything explained during the classes.
Final report is due by 12/11 on Moodle (already open under Week 8).
Information will follow for the group presentation video peer review but basically each student will have, directly in comproved, to give some comment and classify (NOT mark since marking will be done by the teaching team) 2 pairs of videos (i.e. 4 videos) from 31/10 to 6/11 so that each group will get feedbacks on its video presentation. This activity will get you 2% of the final note as explained.
Regards,
M. Kolp
