Enrolment options

In order to understand the new dynamics generated by the internationalization of economic exchanges, the course aims to identify and compare evolutions in human resource management and wage policies in the different European countries.

 This course will therefore aim to:


  • Understand the notion of wage as well as its components

  • Compare the wage formation processes in the European countries

  • Identify and understand the factors explaining the wage formation in the different countries and identify  the convergence and divergence factors

  • Identify the different rooms for maneuver for companies to determine their wage and HRM policies in the different national contexts

  • Understand the strategies of the internationalization of HRM and compare the HRM practices (recruitment and selection, mobility, intercultural competences, intercultural team management,..) across the European countries.

 

The course includes lectures, students collective presentations based on readings and collective discussions. It requires an active participation of the students.
