This course is related to Requirements Engineering (RE), one of the possible projects that can be selected for the course LLSMF2901 Technological project.
Requirements engineering is the discipline that involves establishing and documenting requirements, not only for computer-based systems, but also for any product, service, or software. The various activities associated with requirements engineering are elicitation, specification, analysis, verification and validation, and management. This course introduces you to the first step: elicitation.
The goal of this project is to conduct a Gesture Elicitation Study (GES), which is an elicitation procedure to determine user-defined gestures for controlling a device (e.g., a smartwatch, a ring device) and an association system (e.g., a smart television, a smart house, an Internet-of-Things environment). Various devices and applications are proposed.
