This course focuses on the sustainability of polymer materials, based on a scientific analysis of the problems and challenges they pose to society. Solutions to these problems require a knowledge of - and evolution in - the ways we produce, use, and recycle polymers, as well as the development of a convincing circular polymer economy. These issues are central to the course, which is organised around themes that are worked upon by the students in groups.
