This course offers an introduction to the mathematical structures underlying quantum mechanics and quantum field theory. It covers selected chapters of functional analysis (Banach and Hilbert spaces, operators and spectral theory), elements of measure and integration theory, distributions and Green’s functions, as well as notions concerning the construction Fock spaces and free quantum fields.
